BIOGRAPHY

Bass player and composer, Beate Wiesinger, is the leading member of the band e c h o boomer and co-leads the band Luchs and Duo 4675. She is also working as a sidewoman with Mira Lu Kovacs, DAS Kammerer Orköster (DE, AUT), Christian Muthspiel’s Orjazztra and co-founded the interdisciplinary duo peterlefttheroom with dancer Christina Huber.

After having worked collectively for over ten years, she is currently focusing her own project e c h o boomer.

Awards: Startstipendium für Musik und darstellende Kunst, 2017 BMUKK, European Young Artists Jazz Award Burghausen, 2016 with Das Kammerer Orköster, Young Nordic Jazz Comets 2014, Helsinki, Finland, representing Sweden with the quintet “Intone”
