BIOGRAPHY

Edi Nulz is a dynamic trio of jazz musicians—Julian Adam Pajzs (guitar), Valentin Schuster (drums), and Siegmar Brecher (bass clarinet)—who fuse the world of jazz with a powerful dose of rock. Their music breaks away from traditional jazz structures, showcasing complex compositions, intricate melodies, and harmonies that lean more towards the energy of 70s prog-rock than conventional jazz. The trio’s distinctive sound is defined by its driving intensity, intricate riffs, and an unmistakable rock influence that sets them apart from the jazz norm.

Their latest album, El Perro Grande (released in 2018 on Boomslang Records), continues to push boundaries and expand their sound, cementing their place as innovators in the contemporary music scene.

Having made a strong impression on the international stage, Edi Nulz continues to grow their global following. In 2019, they were part of the showcase program at jazzahead! in Bremen, further solidifying their reputation as a band with a unique sound and a strong potential for international success.

As of now, Edi Nulz is poised to take their music even further, with plans to conquer bigger stages worldwide. Their fresh blend of jazz, rock, and experimental sounds continues to captivate audiences and break new ground in the genre.
