BIOGRAPHY

Edith Lettner is mainly engaged in jazz, improvised music, African music and music from different regions of the Middle East. She plays alto and soprano saxophone and duduk, an Armenian woodwind instrument, and composes. Edith Lettner performs internationally with unique artists and bands and has recorded numerous CDs. Her frequent collaboration with musicians from other cultures and artists from other genres has made her an incredibly versatile artistic personality. Her many stays abroad in Senegal, Armenia, New York and Canada have been especially formative for her career.
