BIOGRAPHY

MIBLU is Miriam Orth-Blau’s solo projekt. She initially got popular through her jewellery label „Meshugge“. Her unique vocals and extraordinary beats make her one emerging artist you want to keep an eye on. Between urban pop and neo r’n’b combined with extraordinary beats, MIBLU fascinates with her uniqueness and genre-bending attitude.

MIBLU always creates a world between fiction and reality. Her songs deal with vulnerability, self-confidence, sensuality and the demons in all of us. Her catchy tune „Still Me“ is an anthem against self-doubt and led to comparisons with world famous artists. In early 2019, MIBLU followed up with her debut EP „Too Close“, that received consistently positive reviews. In March, she was selected as the Soundpark Act of the Month by radio FM4:  “MIBLU’s EP “Too Close” is a self-critical as well as thoroughly honest statement to herself; who this self is changes from song to song, from listener to listener. The ability to find one’s own views, qualities, or habits in the music of others is one of the most remarkable qualities of pop. To tell stories that are as universal as they are personal.
