… a mere glimpse into the massive amount of positive international feedback Innsbruck-based Shoegaze / Post-Rock Duo „MOLLY“ managed to triggered with their acclaimed debut „All That Ever Could Have Been“. ATECHB was released in 2019 via „Sonic Cathedral“ and „Dalliance Recordings“ and came after a series of shoegaze-inspired singles and EPs the duo has been putting out since 2016 – coalescing on their praised 2017 EP „Glimpse“.

From the outside it might look like MOLLY went on a bit of an hiatus after their 2020 Europe-tour in support of All That Ever Could Have Been – but with Covid hitting literally a week after the shows wrapped up, they decided this might just be the time to go all in on songwriting and studio work and on to record the best music they have ever made. After almost two years of sweat and tears, of experimentation and of recording and re-recording, their second full-length album „Picturesque“ finally saw its completion in early 2022 and was released via „Sonic Cathedral“ on the 13th of January 2023 on Vinyl, CD and digital. Picturesque managed to climb up multiple official UK Charts, got outstanding reviews in many major international music magazines and even managed to claim the title „Album Of The Month“ on „Stereogum“. In support of said Album, MOLLY went on to tour Europe in January and February of 2023.
