BIOGRAPHY

After their victory in the 2015 Radio FM4 Protest Song Contest with their debut single “Wladimir (Put Putin)” and an enormous YouTube hype at home and abroad (1.5 million views on Youtube!), RAMMELHOF was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the category “Hard ‘n’ Heavy” in 2016. After numerous appearances at various festivals in Austria (Donauinselfest, Rock in Vienna, Nova Rock, Alpen Flair, etc.), they toured Germany for the first time in spring 2018, as the exclusive support act on metal legend J.B.O.’s “Deutsche Vita Tour”.

The band – consisting of the great General and Lucifa on vocals, Urgos Brutalos (drums), Mario Granato (guitar), Du-Shan (bass) and Pater Perdurabo (acting) – loves nothing more than messing with the big players of the world. Their music is heavy on political commentary; their trademark unique and fantastical music videos underline their lyrical and musical madness with stark, surrealist imagery. RAMMELHOF doesn’t mince words: they scream their opinion of the world unabashedly in our faces, sparing nothing and no one. The absolute chaos of their live shows is a spectacle not to be missed.
