BIOGRAPHY
Soap&Skin is an Austrian musician and producer who has been internationally acclaimed from the very beginning of her career. The artist creates neoclassical, dark ambient, ‘sadcore’ music, with a uniquely innovative and courageous approach. Her third album “From Gas to Solid…” (2018) marked the return of Soap&Skin, who was born as Anja Plaschg. After six years “From Gas to Solid…” belatedly follows the release of the Top Ten albums “Lovetune For Vacuum” in 2009 and 2012’s “Narrow” which hit No 1 in the official Austrian album charts. In between the artist, has been busy, not least with the birth of her daughter and subsequent motherhood but as well with many other creative works such as composing for theatre and film productions, as well as acting in award-nominated and winning films. Her latest album is “Torso” (2024) out on Pia Records.
