BIOGRAPHY

Nothing is more beautiful than finding oneself in a work of art, feeling understood. Violetta Parisini’s songs do just that. The audible vulnerability and simultaneous joie de vivre generate resonance, also in her concerts, which are characterised by an unagitated emotionality. Violetta Parisini shares both her doubts and her confidence with us, and we recognise ourselves in them.

Since her philosophy studies in the 00’s, Violetta Parisini has been writing and singing – first as a singing DJ, later, more and more, as a songwriter of her own songs. In 2010, her first album “Giving You My Heart To Mend” was released on Universal Music and was enthusiastically received in the Austrian media landscape. Together with producer and songwriter Florian Cojocaru, she also released her second album, “Open Secrets”, two years later. The songs on the two albums move between pop and singer-songwriter music, and stay in the ear – and in the heart.

In 2020, she released her first album with german lyrics, “Alles Bleibt”, followed by the EP “Unter Menschen” in 2022, recorded and produced with Sixtus Preiss. Those works were praised for their poetic accounts of the human condition, their rhythmic and melodic boldness, and their warm and velvety sound. Currently, Violetta Parisini plays live either solo on the piano or with a trio with Peter Rom (guitar) and Hanibal Scheutz (bass). With this instrumentation the trio plays dense and delicate arrangements of both English and German songs.
