BIOGRAPHY

WERNER ZANGERLE is a freelance musician and composer living in Vienna. As a jazz musician, improviser and composer he draws inspiration from contemporary and historical jazz styles as well as from improvisation and contemporary music. He was taught by such great names as Alan Praskin, Florian Bramböck and Harry Sokal. His willingness to experiment is at the forefront of his work. The saxophonist does not know any limits when it comes to working out new musical aspects of his instrument. He released his debut album Werner Zangerle in 2007 (Nucleus/PAO Records).
