UPCOMING WORKSHOP DATES
Sep. 20: MICA – WORKSHOP: ANTI-DISCRIMINATION AND ANTI-RACISM AWARENESS WORKSHOP
Date & Time: Sep. 20, 2022 – 17:30 – 20:00
The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness of different forms of discrimination and racism, to counteract prejudice, and to work together towards practices of solidarity.
People who are active in the cultural field have the special insight into group membership and prejudices as well as reflect on their own privileges in order to better understand their own position in society. In addition, we will deal with the concept of racism, which is intended to convey an awareness of anti-racist attitudes.
Workshop Leader: Dunia Khalil is a long-standing legal advisor in the field of anti-racism as well as hate-on-the-net and, as a trained anti-racism trainer, holds workshops and trainings on a wide variety of topics related to anti-discrimination. Furthermore, the speaker of the organization ZARA is engaged as an expert in national as well as international networks, working groups and organizations on the topic of fundamental and human rights.

Date & Time: Sep. 22, 2022 – 16:00 – 18:00
The aim of the webinar is to create new synergies between artistic fields, EU cultural policy, and UN sustainable development goals (SDGs), to foster better cooperation and interconnectivity among them. It is particularly designed for artists, to provide them with key information on EU cultural policy, UN SDGs, and EU funding opportunities while addressing the potential that the arts have in modern glocal societies (i.e. arts as a driver for change and their potential in building an inclusive society). It also encourages them to think outside the box – how to create works and projects with the aim to support or achieve the 17 UN SDGs – and to forge new links with other art forms, disciplines, or sectors.
This webinar will be held in English.
