Sep. 22: WEBINAR: CREATING NEW SYNERGIES BETWEEN ARTISTIC FIELDS, EU CULTURAL POLICY, AND UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
Date & Time: Sep. 22, 2022 – 16:00 – 18:00
Place: Online
Language: English
DETAILS:
The aim of the webinar is to create new synergies between artistic fields, EU cultural policy, and UN sustainable development goals (SDGs), to foster better cooperation and interconnectivity among them. It is particularly designed for artists, to provide them with key information on EU cultural policy, UN SDGs, and EU funding opportunities while addressing the potential that the arts have in modern glocal societies (i.e. arts as a driver for change and their potential in building an inclusive society). It also encourages them to think outside the box – how to create works and projects with the aim to support or achieve the 17 UN SDGs – and to forge new links with other art forms, disciplines, or sectors.
Webinar by Aleksandra Bajde: Founding Director of the Culture and Sustainability Lab, Composer-Performer, Doctoral Candidate in Political Science at the University of Vienna.
