The eighth edition of SHARPE festival and conference will take place on April 24–25, 2026, at Nová Cvernovka. The festival will feature more than 40 performances across four stages. In previous years, the festival used to close the Open Call on November 17 – this year, on November 17, they are only opening it. You can submit your solo music project or band until January 17, 2026.

SHARPE is a festival and conference held in Bratislava, focused on showcasing fresh and sharp music from Slovakia, Europe, and beyond. The eighth edition of the festival will take place on April 24–25, 2026, at Nová Cvernovka. The festival will feature more than 40 performances across four stages.
Conference
SHARPE festival is also a place for discussions, workshops and presentations on various topics from the music and creative industries, music business but also other highly relevant environmental or social topics. All the participants, speakers, festival representatives, journalists, musicians, label managers, artist managers and other people meet right at SHARPE in Nová Cvernovka.

Symbolically, the festival has set the Open Call to begin 11/17, because thanks to November 17, 1989, in former Czechoslovakia, they can now annually welcome guests and visitors to the festival and conference from all around the Europe and the world.
Dozens of musicians can showcase their free and uncensored work, while speakers can openly discuss the connection between music and activism, travel, and social and technological progress.
