BIOGRAPHY
The Austrian violinist Annette Fritz knows how to be both artistically convincing and emotionally inspiring. With her creative and unconventional approach to programme design, she succeeds in combining innovative ideas with high musical quality, placing music in new contexts and surprising the audience repeatedly. Her musical range is truly impressive. Whether solo or chamber music, baroque or contemporary music – the sounds that the young violinist skilfully elicits from her instrument are just as diverse as her projects:
ELEVATED ECHOS, a series of hiking concerts, unites nature and music in a unique way and takes the audience on an extraordinary journey of discovery.
Her work with the Ensemble Walzerklang, which is known for its lively interpretation of a wide variety of music, is completely different but just as fascinating. As artistic director of this salon orchestra, Annette Fritz creates programmes that both preserve tradition and set fresh and humorous accents.
