BIOGRAPHY
About 10 years ago JELENA POPRŽAN started performing with the duo CATCH-POP STRING-STRONG, and built her international reputation as an imaginative arranger, expressive vocal artist and entertainer with comedic talent and political italian commitment further with the world-music quartet MADAME BAHEUX and SORMEH. Wherever you want to place her stylistically: New & old music, world, singer-songwriter, cabaret, new Viennese song, folk, jazz or whatever, Popržan is inspired by and located in the middle of all these genres and lets her very own mixture arise from it. A varied revue is to be expected, consisting of songs, compositions, sounds. Homages to forgotten traditions and unforgettable new!
