What?
Classical:NEXT is the global hub for classical and art music innovators. It’s where ideas are born, projects are launched, and the future of the genre takes shape. Each year, the event brings together the international community for an inspiring programme featuring an interactive Conference, Project Pitches, Showcase concerts, Film Showcases, an Expo, the Innovation Award and countless networking opportunities.
Classical:NEXT 2026 is looking for bold ideas and trailbazing voices.
Whether it’s early or contemporary, traditional or experimental, live or recorded, educational, artistic or focussing on business, what matters is that it’s heading NEXT.
Who?
Classical:NEXT is by the community, for the community.
The programme comes from music professionals from all sectors: artists, managers, presenters, orchestras, labels, educators, press, media, filmmakers, tech innovators, publishers and more.
Classical:NEXT is open to everyone: if you are pushing the boundaries of the global art and classical music scene, you are invited to submit your proposal for a conference session, project pitch or showcase.
How?
The Classical:NEXT programme is curated by an independent jury of international experts, and champions bold ideas and a rich diversity of voices.
Each proposal is carefully reviewed with the aim of creating a thoughtful balance of geography, gender, themes, and instrumentation, reflecting the global and evolving landscape of classical and art music.
