Core idea
- Focus: “Contemporary Classical Music – Understanding Through Gamification”
- Goal: Turn complex or experimental music into interactive, playful experiences that engage broader audiences.
This open call is for experimental, interdisciplinary projects that rethink how people experience contemporary classical music—by turning listening into an interactive, game-like experience. In short: make contemporary classical music easier to experience by letting people “play” with it.
Your Proposal
A project that combines music + interaction/game logic, e.g.:
- digital or web-based games
- physical formats (board games, escape rooms)
- social or participatory experiences
- artistic/interactive installations
Who can apply
- Individuals or teams worldwide
- No restrictions on age, background, or profession
- Must submit a project idea + team info
Timeline
- Deadline: 9 April 2026
- Program phases:
- School (Apr–Jun, online): develop your concept with mentors
- Studio (Jun–Nov): produce the project with funding/support
- Showcase (Nov): present at CultTech Summit
Costs & funding
- Application: free
- School phase: €450 per team (grants available)
- Studio phase: fully funded + production grants
