Registration has begun for jazzahead! 2027, taking place from April 22 – 24, 2027. As in recent years, we’re pleased to be able to offer a discount for anyone interested in registering with us as a Professional Participant – particularly musicians who want to apply for a showcase slot!
jazzahead!, a combination trade fair and showcase festival, is the only event of its kind in Europe and one of the largest worldwide. Austrian Music Export is pleased to be organizing the Austrian Heartbeats stand again in 2027. Our goal – as always – is to provide an comfortable, attractive spot for Austrian jazz musicians and professionals to meet and talk with their international colleagues.

Austrian Music Export invites you to help us represent the Austrian jazz scene at jazzahead 2027! In order to get the discount, follow these steps:
- To register for jazzahead! 2027, click the registration link.
- If you’ve never registered before, click the “Sign Up” button to create an account; otherwise log in with your existing account.
- The name of our stand is Austrian Heartbeats, the stand number is TBA (for now), and the contact person is Philip Yaeger.
- The discount should be automatically applied; if not, the code RAUM27 can be entered in the last step before payment. The net price should be reduced by 20%.
- The terms of participation and cancellation for professional participants can be found here.
- After registration, head over to the participants portal for all further functions.
Online registration is possible until April 14, 2027 – but it pays to register early! If you register by September 30th, the cost is 152€ (with the discount, excluding VAT). After that, the price gradually increases.
Take your shot!
The jazzahead! Showcases are 30- to 45-minute concerts presenting 38 selected bands and artists to both international jazz professionals and the general public.
Over three days and nights, audiences can experience current jazz from Germany, Europe, Overseas/Asia Pacific and the Baltic States on the stages of Hall 7 and Kulturzentrum Schlachthof.
We want to see Austrian acts at jazzahead! To apply for a showcase concert, first register for jazzahead 2027 (see above), then head over to https://jazzahead.de/showcases/ to enter your project. Don’t delay – showcase registration ends on September 30th!
