The Budapest Ritmo Showcase offers:
– PRO Festival pass with access to all shows & conference panels,
– Exposure and feedback from a pool of selected professionals and experts,
– Booking opportunities,
– Networking: at the Budapest Ritmo Conference, at our speed dating event, and at the networking events connected to the showcase concerts
– Introduction to the Central – Eastern European world music audience,
– Media exposure through the Budapest Ritmo communication campaign,
– Accommodation for foreign artists,
– Contribution for travel costs for non-Hungary based bands (150€ / person.)
Who can apply?
- Regional bands (V4 countries, Western-Balkan countries, Eastern Partnership countries, Baltics, Turkey and Hungary’s neighboring countries)
- Artists from the world music scene
- Ritmo welcomes artists who are ready to step on the international stage
Before you apply:
– Make sure you are available on the 9th-11th of April, 2026.
– Plan to attend the related networking events, happening on the 10th and 11th of April.
– Have enough material ready to perform at the showcase concert (roughly 40 minutes).
