Mastering the Music Business (MMB) is the leading Romanian music business conference and showcase event, now in its 11th year! See you in Bucharest on 1-3 September 2026 for three days of inspiring panels with world-renowned speakers, amazing networking opportunities and – of course – the hottest new music the region has to offer! Deadline to apply is February 15, 2026.
We offer full conference access for the travel party, and one night of accommodation will be reimbursed. Support for travel expenses for bands who are not based in Bucharest can be offered up to 300 EUR / act. There is no performance fee.
Former live acts (both international and local) that played at previous MMB Showcase Festivals have been booked for tours in Romania, for similar international festivals (Eurosonic, Sziget Festival, Glastonbury Green Futures Field, EXIT, Live at Heart, BUSH, Musik Messe, Future Echoes), for club gigs, were presented in international music publications, got signed with booking agencies, and even started international collaborations.
