November 20, 21 and 22, 2025 – El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz, Spain)
Who can apply
Agencies, management companies, record labels, institutions or any entity officially representing artists or bands.
Applications submitted directly by artists or bands will not be accepted.
Application deadline
July 15, 2025
Acceptance or rejection deadline
August 15, 2025
What being selected means
Participation in one or more showcases during the festival.
Venues equipped with sound system and standard backline (2 guitar amps, 1 bass amp, and a drum kit).
Each artist must bring their own additional equipment and instruments.
No full soundchecks: only line check (maximum 25 minutes).
Showcase Fee
€400 + VAT per selected artist or band (to be paid via bank transfer upon submission of an invoice, within a maximum of 30 calendar days after the end of the festival)
Accreditations
Full access to the festival and professional activities for:
All band members (musicians and technician; communication staff, family members, etc., are excluded)
One representative from the participating entity
Responsibilities of the participating entity
Register all artists and crew with the Social Security.
Submit supporting documentation at least one day before the performance.
Image and promotional rights
The organization may record and publish images and videos of the showcases for promotional purposes, both for the festival and for the artists involved.

The showcases circuit is the core of Monkey Week SON Estrella Galicia, a unique opportunity to give visibility to new talents in front of the main professionals of the music industry. These are not standard concerts, but short and focused presentations, designed to show the best of each artist in just 45 minutes.
In its sixteen previous editions, more than 1,200 bands and solo artists have played on our stages, consolidating Monkey Week SON Estrella Galicia as one of the most relevant emerging music showcases in Europe. Festival programmers, record labels, booking agencies, media and other industry agents attend every year in search of new proposals.
This 17th edition will once again turn venues, squares and unique spaces into a marathon of showcases for three days. If you are part of an agency, label or collective and you represent a band or artist with a solid and growing proposal, this form is the first step to be part of Monkey Week SON Estrella Galicia.
