Primavera Sound in Barcelona is an annual international happening, drawing musicians and music industry professionals from all over the world. Running parallel to the festival are Primavera a la Ciutat (a concert program spread across the city) and Primavera Pro (a professional conference with a program of presentations, workshops and concerts), happening June 2-8, 2025. As always, Austria will be bringing its A-game to the festival – this year with OSKA.
OSKA at Primavera:
Primavera a la Ciutat / Primavera Pro
Date: Wednesday June 4, 2025
Place: CCCB – Pati de les Dones
Time: TBA
Primavera a la Ciutat performances will have free entrance for all the festival pass holders (with an RSVP registration), and a small allocation will be available for those who don’t have a festival pass. It’s usually 15% of the venue allocation, general ticket price, and all the proceeds go to the venues.
The Primavera Pro performances at CCCB are free and open to everyone until the venue reaches full capacity. No festival pass or Primavera Pro pass is required, and RSVP registration is not needed.
Festival pass holders’ RSVP, regular on-sale tickets, and access to Primavera Pro performances will be properly explained and announced between March and April, giving everyone plenty of time to plan their routes to their favorite shows.
About OSKA:
OSKA moved to Vienna at the age of 18. She started busking in streets and squares of the capital while also studying pop and jazz singing. She signed to Nettwerk in 2020 and released her debut EP “Honeymoon Phase” in 2021.
She followed the EP with her debut album “My World, My Love, Paris” in February 2022, comprised of 12 songs that see OSKA weave together tales of her family life and the experience of being a young person growing up in the world. With candor and charm, her authentic self comes through in honest lyricism and tender melodies. OSKA charmed audiences across Europe in 2022, playing around 100 shows. Besides her own tour through Austria and Germany, she joined label-mate Stu Larsen in spring for his tour, before linking up with Tom Odell as support act for his European Tour and Matt Simons and HAEVN for shows across the Netherlands.
The year 2023 started with not only performing, but also winning her a Music Moves Europe Talent Award at the Eurosonic Showcase Festival. OSKA was constantly working on new music which lead into releasing a first glimpse of her forthcoming album.
Im March 2024 OSKA gave her US live debut by performing at the New Colossus Festival in New York, SXSW in Austin, Texas and New New Festival in Dallas. Later that year she will be the opener for Coldplay in Vienna, when they play their 4 sold out stadium shows at the Ernst Happel Stadium in August, before she will get back on the road for her first European Headline tour in autumn.
