Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Austria’s most prestigious music award ceremony – the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards – will be held on March 29, 2015, at the Viennese Volkstheater and will be broadcasted live by Austria’s television network ATV. Besides the bestowal of the most coveted trophies in the Austrian music industry, the evening promises an entertaining show program with various performances, including concerts by Conchita Wurst and Herbert Grönemeyer.
ONLINE VOTING
Music fans can cast their vote for their favorite artists on www.amadeusawards.at/voting, which includes the chance to win concert tickets by oeticket.com. Voting closes on February 26, 2015. The award winners will be selected from the majority of the audience and jury votings (50% audience vote, 50% jury vote). Thus the online community has a major influence on which artists take home the prize.
