BIOGRAPHY

Founded in 2006, six time “Amadeus Austrian Music Award“ winning band 5/8erl in Ehr’n has created its own musical style: “Viennese soul”. They are known for their two equal singing frontmen & their easy grooves without drums. The constellation of double bass, acoustic guitar, wurlitzer, and accordion makes for a special timbre; the mix of jazz, soul & pop for a unique flair. Since 2006, the band has played over 1000 shows (sic!) and released several studio album & live albums on their own label „Viennese Soulfood Records”. As a constant touring band, they have been to China, Egypt, Germany and Austria. Current collaborators are Jazzorchester Vorarlberg.

5/8erl in Ehr´n are: Max Gaier (vocals), Bobby Slivovsky (vocals), Miki Liebermann (acoustic & electric guitar), Clemens Wenger (accordion, piano) and Hanibal Scheutz (acoustic & electric bass)
