BIOGRAPHY

Musician Anda Morts is from Linz and is an indie-punker without any artificial attitude. The things the 25-year-old sings about make his audience feel his state of mind. In the stage between 20 and 30, this is often characterized by questions, by feeling trapped, sometimes uninspired, angry, or even really disillusioned and, of course, sometimes just not up for it.  Anda Morts always puts the determination of his mid-twenties inner life directly on paper in a little book. He plays guitar, sings what runs through his head, and the words find themselves.

The musician draws inspiration mainly from punk rock. The genre which also brought him to music.  “I thought music is for everyone, punk rock riffs are easy, I can do that”. At the age of 11 he starts playing drums and about two years later his fascination for punk begins. Another two years pass until he founds his first band at 15. At this time the young artist also learns to play on a broken guitar with only three strings left. The broken instrument is soon replaced by a cheap but intact western guitar and he starts writing and singing on his own.
