BIOGRAPHY
Nothing musical is alien to him: contemporary avant-garde and jazz, rock, live electronics, or improvisational experiments beyond the categories belong to the habitat of the pianist, composer, bandleader and record label owner Hannes Löschel. The tone and sound material on his CD “Herz.Bruch.Stück” (2007) encompasses Johannes Brahms (played backwards) or Brazilian telenovelas as well as Viennese dialect songs. His performance settings can range from a small band in an intimate setting to a 3000-man tent at a jazz festival.
