impuls Academy 2027: Registration has started … We would hereby like to draw your attention to the 15th international Ensemble and Composers Academy for Contemporary Music 2027, running from February 8th – 19th, 2027 in Graz, Austria. Aside from composers, the festival welcomes electronic, sound, multimedia and other artists,and of course have various programs set up also for vocalists, young chamber music formations and ensembles. As to individual musicians coaching for violin, viola, cello, double bass as well as saxophone, piano, percussion and accordion is provided. (No specified application deadline.)
Aside from individual coaching, the Academy is once more offering lots of Special Programs such as Intermedia Collaboration – instruments, electronics, video, gestures, performance with Pierre Jodlowski and Dimitrios Polisoidis, Expanded Music with Simon Steen-Andersen, Special Program for Composers and Percussionists with Carola Bauckholt and Christian Dierstein, Hybrid Music In Situ with Stefan Prins or Composing Relations. On Building, Breaking, and the Politics of Form with Laure M. Hiendl – just to name a few – as well as varied calls for scores, reading sessions…, and a multitude of discourse programs.
Once more, the Academy 2027 is interwoven with the impuls Festival, offering a platform for presentation also for the young artists.
