BIOGRAPHY

Since its founding at Mozarteum University Salzburg in 2013, the accio piano trio has been making music together for more than a decade – with numerous intense concerts, special moments, and precious encounters. The latin word accio means to call for sb. or sth. – with this in mind, we are striving to create unique musical experiences that are evoking images, emotions, memories, and individual associations.
The ensemble’s repertoire focuses on the masterpieces of Viennese Classicism, but also on rarely performed works especially by female composers (Mel Bonis, Lili Boulanger, Dora Pejačević und Kelly-Marie Murphy), as well as on young Austrian composers (Jakob Gruchmann, Karim Zech, Noëmi Haffner) of New Music.

Christina Scheicher – piano
