From: Vienna, Austria
Felix Kramer is a Viennese songwriter in his twenties. He comes from Ottakring, a Viennese district known for its wine taverns (in German: “Heuriger”) and its brewery.
He plays on the dark strings of life and sings heart-wrenching songs of heartbreak, abandonment and relationships. His debut album “Wahrnehmungssache” (German for “matter of perception”) is heavy despite its sparse instrumentation. He gets a few things off his chest through his songs, for example in the title track. There Felix sings of the callousness and brutalization of society and the current government.
In 2018 Felix Kramer became known to a wider audience when performing at the Popfest Wien, followed by gigs at “Kaltern Pop Festival” (IT) and”Take the A-train Festival” (Salzburg /AT). Felix Kramer achieved well coverage by press including radio Ö1, FM4 and BR.
