BIOGRAPHY

Born in Linz, artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Joe Traxler moves with subtle intuition between psychedelic rock, alternative, and indie. After studying jazz guitar and spending four formative years in London’s singer-songwriter circuit, performing almost daily, he developed a distinctive sound balancing organic warmth, modern production, and introspective depth. His songs are defined by dynamic songwriting, unexpected turns, and an emotional openness that defies easy categorization.

With his Amadeus Music Award–nominated debut album Lifelines (2022), the EP High Sugar Content (2023), and the experimental instrumental trip-hop mixtape On A Trip To The Ether (2025), Traxler has established himself as a versatile and independent artist. International airplay, over four million streams, Europe-wide shows, and support performances for artists such as Jade Bird, James Gillespie, and Oscar Jerome followed. Alongside his solo work, Traxler collaborates as a producer and songwriter with artists including Lukas Oscar, Harry Dean Lewis, Sakura, and Peter The Human Boy.
