BIOGRAPHY
KÄSSY is anything and anyone she wants to be. Singer, instrumentalist, producer, performer. Her music sometimes sounds like walking through the deepest depths of eclectic mania hell and other times it sounds like floating through the highest heavens of intense emotion and apathy. Its prettiness is sprinkled with paranoia and sometimes even downright ugliness.
Straight out of high school, Katrin Paucz not only dipped her toes into the music business, but jumped into the cold water head first, immediately going on tour as a live guitarist for the band Oehl. Shortly after, she encountered producer Marco Kleebauer and they joined forces with rapper Mile, and in 2020 they founded their own band, Sharktank. Together they have released two albums and one EP. In 2022 Katrin left Oehl, and became a member of the live band for Bilderbuch. At only 23 years old, she had played countless tours, international festivals and headline shows and even the biggest stages. Soaking up every single experience she had made throughout her career, taught her a lot about being a musician, performer and front woman. In March 2024 she played her very first shows as KÄSSY, supporting Bilderbuch on their European tour throughout Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France and the UK. Self taught in almost all aspects of her craft, her earliest songs first saw the light of day through the blinds of her own bedroom window. Her distinctive voice is her anchor point, and combined with her eclectic and colorful production, it allows her to uncompromisingly express herself.
