BIOGRAPHY

LUKAS OSCAR is an emerging singer, songwriter, and producer based in Vienna with Filipino roots. Over the past year, he has established himself as a distinctive voice in the German-speaking indie-pop scene, known for combining vulnerable intimacy with catchy melodies and a powerful, melancholic vocal presence that captures audiences from the very first note. Lukas began playing piano at the age of six, inspired by his mother’s love for karaoke. Since then, his music has evolved into a contemporary pop sound that blends raw vocals, electronic production, and playful hooks. His debut album The Fun Never Ends and singles like, Life Keeps Flashing, and Pretty Words have already made a mark both singles even reaching #2 on the FM4 charts.

His work has been featured on playlists such as Indie Brandneu, Fresh Finds Indie, All New Indie, GLOW, and Anti-Pop. The new album represents a more open, bold, and mature artistic direction. It navigates the emotional spectrum between melancholy and euphoria, telling clear and relatable stories. Without relying on explicit messaging, Lukas explores themes of belonging, openness, and vulnerability—resonating especially with listeners from the LGBTQIA+ community and challenging traditional norms. His momentum continues to build: named one of IMPALA’s 100 Artists to Watch 2025, Lukas has already shared stages with acts like Mark Forster, Khruangbin, and L’Impératrice. His sold-out album release show at B72 in Vienna and international appearances at festivals such as ESNS and MENT have further solidified his presence in the European indie-pop landscape. Now, Lukas is bringing his music to life on stage. Each show is an invitation to experience the emotional depth and sonic richness of his album in an intimate, live setting.
