BIOGRAPHY

Lukas Oscar is a talented young singer, songwriter, and music producer with Filipino roots, currently based in Vienna. Known for his soothing, melancholic voice, Lukas also showcases his skills as a gifted songwriter and pianist. His musical journey began at the age of 6, inspired by his mother’s love for karaoke and Alicia Keys songs. By 14, he was already experimenting with music production, and at 17, he began writing and producing for other artists, commuting to Vienna on weekends to focus on his music.

Lukas’ early career saw him working as a label assistant, eventually becoming part of a writing and production team. In 2020, he co-wrote the song Tears Getting Sober for Bulgarian singer Victoria, which was selected for the Eurovision Song Contest. Though the contest was canceled due to the pandemic, the song received praise and attention, marking a significant moment in Lukas’ career.

In 2022, Lukas released his debut EP Colors of A VOID, where he used music as a way to express his inner emotional world with raw honesty. The EP invites listeners into his mind, with lyrics and melodies that candidly explore his personal thoughts and feelings.

Currently, Lukas is working on his debut album, which promises to delve deeper into the unspoken emotions and thoughts that often go unacknowledged. He describes the album as a “playground” for all feelings, providing a safe space for even the most difficult emotions. Lukas aims to create a judgment-free zone where listeners can embrace their complex feelings and find solace in knowing that they are not alone in their struggles. The forthcoming album is set to be an outlet for the emotions we often keep hidden, offering a place where every sentiment, no matter how chaotic, is welcomed.
