Applications are open for artists and creatives to showcase at numerous music industry events throughout the second half of 2020 and early 2021. Read up on some selected European festivals if you are keen to take your artist on the road.
Reeperbahn Festival, Hamburg
Date: September 16-19, 2020
Since its debut in 2006, the Reeperbahn Festival has grown to become one of the most important meeting places for the music industry. Artist applications are still open until July 17!
As in the past years Austrian participants can get a reduced conference ticket for the Reeperbahn Festival 2020. The discount is € 189,- net (plus VAT and system fee) instead of the regular € 275,- net for full accreditation (conference and festival). Lost in Music, Tampere
Date: October 8-10, 2020
Lost in Music is Music & Media’s showcase festival, organized at the same time in Tampere and the biggest club festival in Finland. Music & Media gathers more than 1000 talents and professionals every year and is the ultimate platform to connect with the Finnish music industry as well as with guests from Northern Europe and elsewhere. Artists can apply for a show by submitting their information by July 15th, 2020 at www.lostinmusic.fi.
MaMA Festival, Paris
Date: October 14-16, 2020
More than 100 showcases will take place across 3 days and 10 venues in Paris in October for the MaMA Festival & Convention. Apply here for MaMA until May 31.
Iceland Airwaves, Reykjavik
Date: November 4-7, 2020
Halfway between North America and Europe, Iceland Airwaves brings together emerging Icelandic talents and the most promising acts from around the world. Every November, Reykjavik comes to life for a four-day conference and non-stop music. Artist applications are still open until July 31st.
Monkey Week, Sevilla
Date: November 18-21,2020
Monkey Week SON Estrella Galicia is an annual meeting point in Sevilla where artists, audiences and professionals of the Spanish independent music scene can interact with delegates and professionals from all over Europe, Latin America and other parts of the world. In the last years, artists like Wandl, Tents, Mickey, Bernhard Eder and Pressyes have performed at the festival. Apply here until July 17, 2020.
Central European Jazz Showcase, Brno
Date: November 26-27, 2020
The organizers of the JazzFestBrno are preparing the first jazz showcase festival in the Czech Republic. The festival will take place from November 26th to 27th, 2020 at the “Husa na provázku” Theater in Brno. Bands from the Czech Republic and Austria are invited to apply for a showcase. Artists can apply for a showcase until July 31st, 2020, using a simple online application form.
Eurosonic Noorderslag, Groningen
Date: January 13-16, 2021
Eurosonic Noorderslag is the key exchange and networking platform for European music, with a proven track record for helping new and upcoming acts break into the international music scene. Selling out each year, ESNS attracts over 4000 delegates, including representatives of more than 400 international festivals. Artist applications for Eurosonic Norderslag 2021 are now open until September 1, 2020. To attend Eurosonic Noorderslag as a conference delegate you need to be registered. Registrations for the 2021 edition are currently available at a reduced price.
Date: February 3–5, 2021
MENT Ljubljana is a three-day award-winning showcase festival of fresh artists from all over Europe and beyond, during which around 70 acts perform at different venues in Ljubljana. The international conference focuses on the music industry and creativity. The seventh edition of MENT Ljubljana will take place from February 3–5, 2021.

INES – Innovation Network of European Showcases
INES, the Innovation Network of European Showcases, has opened applications for its young artist pool INES#talent. This application is open for musicians of all genres, solo or in bands until July 31st. Over 70 talents will be selected and get the chance to drive their international careers forward by performing at 20 showcase festivals in 19 European countries over the course of the next 2 years. Applications are possible via Gigmit until July 31, 2020.

Waves Vienna is the city’s first club- and showcase festival. From September 10 – 12, 2020 the Waves Vienna Music Festival & Conference will take place for the 10th time. Music experts, organizers, label owners, bookers, and musicians will meet during the day for discussion and networking at Vienna’s WUK and for (streamed) concerts and events during the night.
