BIOGRAPHY
With his band Gospel Dating Service, Christoph Ertl has been making a big splash on Vienna’s indie scene since 2016. Synthpop and soul, funk and dance, a bit of piano here, a dose of rap there, take the passionately eclectic producer into new musical territories again and again – the influences range from Tyler, the Creator and Childish Gambino to Anderson Paak and Action Bronson. Under the name Christoh, he is now embarking on his solo career and already has big things in the pipeline. Singles like the ecstatic soul pop gem “Love Life” or the summery funk-rap of “Dulce” offer sumptuous headphone treats with feel-good factor, but would definitely also enhance line-ups at any festival summer, from Vienna to Hamburg.
After his debut album “Heavy Heart” he published the single “with u”.
