BIOGRAPHY

GOHAR’s journey into music wasn’t exactly conventional. Born in Armenia and now based in Austria, she graduated from the prestigious Mozarteum in Salzburg as a rising opera star.
But the world of Aria and Overtures began to feel like a gilded cage, so she ripped off the mask and walked away to forge her own path. From there, things got… interesting. In her tiny apartment / “studio” with just a synthesizer, GOHAR taught herself to produce music, blending her classical training with her love for R&B, Pop, and Armenian folk – an unexpected fusion that just clicked. Her self-produced tracks are raw, tender, and daring, a genre-defying mix of Alt-R&B, Alt-Pop, and Folk.

“These stories are real; nothing is made up,” she says. Now, GOHAR is less concerned with stardom and more focused on creating without compromise. She isn’t just making music – she’s chasing a vision that’s entirely her own.
