After an early musical socialization in Salzburg´s hip hop scene, Hunney Pimp moved to Vienna and developed a new and idiosyncratic sound, which announced itself in the 2016 mixtape “Zum Mond”. In 2017 her debut album “Schmetterlinge” followed. With a special blend of melodic vocals and gentle raps on beats moving between cloud, trap and sample aesthetics, Hunney Pimp and her collaborator Meloniod create a sombre atmosphere that in the utmost gentleness tells of the wide spectrum of human emotions and their deepest abysses.

Right from the start she got noticed by Austrian and German media. Juice magazine premiered her videos and a string of other articles followed (The Message, Skug, Splashmag, Noizz), complemented by live concerts and radio sessions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (including Radio FM4, Radio Fritz, Bayerischer Rundfunk). She was nominated for the FM4 Amadeus Awards in 2018. Currently Hunney Pimp and her producer Melonoid are working on their new album. “Chicago Baby” is due to be released in October 2019.
