BIOGRAPHY

Vague are five young men from Vienna. Their past two tours have led them through cities like London, Paris, Prague, Vienna, Hamburg and Berlin, presenting their two EPs “Television” and “Tempdays”. Their debut album “In The Meantime” (2016, Siluh Records) features a strange intimacy and an elaborated sound that – rightfully so – is often compared to the golden years of the early 80s to early 90s underground rock music. But their gloomy postpunk references, distorted guitar surfaces and cool-headeddly whispered melodies are not only for the nostalgic. Pressing yet smooth.
