BIOGRAPHY
It is very rare for a newcomer band to hit number one on Austria’s Spotify Viral Charts and number six in Germany with their debut single. However, this happened to NAKED CAMEO – Lukas Maletzky (git/voc), Maria Solberger (synth/backing voc), Patrick Pillichshammer (drums) and Jakob “Jackson” Preßmair (bass) – with their first single “Luddite”.
The young band, originally from Upper Austria, is now living in Vienna and shifts between electronica, pop und r´n´b with organic beats and extensive synths. Their debut album “Of Two Minds” (Futuresfuture) was released to critical acclaim in March 2018 and was produced by Marco Kleebauer (Leyya). Naked Cameo already performed at Waves Festival, Donauinselfest and Ahoi Pop and supported Wolf Alice in Vienna. In September 2018 Naked Cameo played at the renowned Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg.
