BIOGRAPHY

Guitar, bass, drums: Aivery are a young Viennese trio making grunge their own. On their debut full-length Because, Franziska Schwarz (bass, vocals), Doris Zimmermann (drums), and Jasmin Rilke (guitar) reveal a band that doesn’t chase trends, instead crafting music that’s raw, authentic, and unapologetically unglamorous.

Their songs mix punk, noise, and grunge elements, but in unconventional ways: sharp guitar riffs, layered vocals, surging basslines, and thunderous drums form a sound that’s self-contained, edgy, and unpredictable. Aivery aren’t afraid to break standard song structures, exploring technical complexity and dynamic contrasts that keep listeners hooked from the first note.

The trio’s approach celebrates energy, tension, and texture over nostalgia, creating a distinctive, modern take on the grunge ethos. With Because, Aivery prove themselves a band with personality, ambition, and a fearless approach to making music that’s unmistakably their own.
