BIOGRAPHY
Love Good Fail is a love triangle from Vienna that celebrates failure: both singer Johanna and producer Johannes stranded – one as a drummer, the other as a tinsmith, a pool lifeguard, a waiter – before they co-founded the band. Keyboard player Maria and producer Wolfgang Schlögl (ex-Sofa Surfers, I-Wolf) joined them to work on the debut single Poolboy, before releasing the debut album “We Met at Night” in summer 2018 via Seayou Records.
The band is influenced by David Bowie and John Cage concerning an overall concept. On the debut album, it´s all about encounters. Staged as actors the triangle tells its prose stories transformed into lyrics, avoiding clichés. Dreams and reality collide in the songs, while Johanna´s voice turns house and dub rhythms into crystal clear pop.
