BIOGRAPHY

PAENDA is pop. PAENDA is EDM with some rough edges. The Vienna based singer, songwriter and producer churns out tracks that are as colorful, diverse and different as her hair style. Sometimes emotional, sometimes bold and straight from the shoulder; PAENDA can be weird and rough as well as smooth and melodic at the same time. Her sound incorporates pop with various elements of electronic music. Future bass, hip hop and trap are all woven together, following just one rule: to never lose sight of PAENDA’s characteristic pop appeal.

Her songs are clearly electronic pop. They are catchy, energetic, ear-worms. Many of them are also very danceable. It’s the kind of album that you can play for friends at a party and you’ll soon find some people dancing around the living room. In 2016 she had already presented her song “Where Heaven Meets Earth“, which had a Eurovision Song Contest vibe. PAENDA’s debut album EVOLUTION I was released in February 2018.

Her second album, EVOLUTION II, is due to be released on April 26, 2019. Releasing the single “Limits” on the International Women´s Day 2019 is more than a statement: PAENDA represented Austria with  “Limits” at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv.
