Call for Austrian Artists: Reeperbahn Festival 2026

From September 16–21, Hamburg will once again host Europe’s largest showcase festival. For musicians, the Reeperbahn Festival is a launchpad into the German market and a gateway to the wider international scene – and Austrian Music Export is looking for acts to represent Austria in the north of Germany! Since 2006, the Reeperbahn Festival has inspired music fans and industry professionals alike with its diverse programme. As in previous years, Austrian Music Export will once again host its own Austrian Heartbeats Showcase in 2026. This year, the showcase will take place at the iconic club Indra, located in the St. Pauli district.

In recent years, the festival has featured artists such as UCHE YARASophia BlendaBipolar FemininAvecMother’s CakeBibiza, Aymz and Sofie Royer. Last year’s Austrian Heartbeats Showcase included performances by Sodl, Filiah, Magdalena Wawra, and Lukas Oscar – and now it’s your turn!

How to apply

Four talented Austrian acts will be selected to perform on Wednesday, September 16, at Indra in front of a large and diverse audience of music industry professionals.

To apply for a showcase slot, please submit: an artist bio, a press photo and a brief statement explaining why this showcase is the right opportunity for you.

Please apply via this online form by May 12. The final selection of acts will be made by the Reeperbahn Festival.

Please note that participation in the showcase is unpaid; however, Austrian Music Export will provide a travel grant of €500 per act.
